Radler German Shandy

The ideal balance of lemonade, orange and a naturally cloudy Engel beer. A natural, fruity, bitter refreshing treat with a great combination of flavours.

Unfiltered German Beers

As with all unfiltered German beer, you are likely to find a little sediment at the bottom of your bottle. This is much the same as you might find in a pint of British Real Ale, and is nothing to be concerned about – it’s how you know that your beer or radler is unfiltered. If you like you can give your drink a shake to mix the sediment back in, but be careful when you open it if you do!

What’s in Your Radler?

Mixed drink, 55% lemon-flavoured soft drink and 45% beer.

Alcohol: 2.5 %  Vol.

What others are saying

  1. Excellent Radler -- much better than typical British Shandy

    Audra Diers (verified owner)

Having a really good light beer with the lemon makes this a very traditional German Radler. If you like Shandy because it’s a bit sweet and nice, then this is far better than the Shandy available most of the time in the stores in the UK.

  2. Michael Darling (verified owner)

This is as I remember Radler from Germany and Austria.

A perfect summer drink with a surprising yet, for me, not overpowering lemon flavour. Very nice.
