Rubia Gallega Beef Ribs

Native to Galicia in North-Western Spain, the Rubia Gallega cattle graze the meadows of Galicia for eight to twelve years developing the layers of marbled fat that the breed is known for. Many say that this beef is Europe’s answer to Wagyu, as the meat is comparably tender and juicy. Find out more about the breed on Wikipedia.

How to Cook and Store Your Rubia Gallega Beef Short Ribs

Cooking instructions

Remove the packaging and bake the sort ribs for about 25-30 minutes at 180°C on a wire rack in the oven. Then let it rest for about 5 minutes and portion.

Shelf life

When goods are received, please store in freezer immediately and defrost the items before using. Once defrosted, keep the items chilled, if unopened use with 3 days. Once opened, use the products immediately.


Please cook until 75°C core temperature.
