The Lüttje Pinkel sausage is a delicious Northern German specialty. A sausage specifically designed to accompany the hearty Ammerländer Grünkohl (kale) dish. Combining pork, bacon, onions and oat groats, creates a delicious smoked sausage to accompany the winter nights. In Northern Germany the Lüttje Pinkel is always with with kale. No questions asked. However, feel free to prove us wrong and see what other tasty combinations you can create.

How to serve your Lüttje Pinkel

Boil the Pinkel in water once, then simmer for about 20 minutes just before the boiling point. Then serve them hot beside the Grünkohl and let yourselves be comforted by the warmth of this hearty dish.

Great with Grünkohl and potatoes

The classic Grünkohl meal is served with delicious the Lüttje Pinkel and also Lüttje Mettenden sausages. As a side dish the Germans traditionally top it off with some hearty potatoes. Inside tip from the Germans: The Pinkel is a great way to spice up any kind of hearty stew. Just slice them up and boil them together with the stew.

Cooking instructions

Cooking pot: Boil the sausages in water once, then simmer for about 20 minutes just before the boiling point.

When the goods are received, please store them in the fridge immediately, keep them chilled at max +7C° and use within 30 days or within 3 days after opening, whichever is sooner.
