Tasty German Roast Pork Serving Suggestions
Tasty cuts of tender roast pork, braised in a malt beer and onion sauce.
“Schweinebraten” translates from the German to “Roast Pork”, and this traditional dish is a brilliant example of German home cooking. Roasted until perfectly tender and served in a mouth-watering malt beer and onion sauce, this Schweinebraten is some of the tastiest we’ve ever had at The Sausage Man.
Great with Bratkartoffeln
This traditional German roast pork dish, and goes perfectly with our own Bratkartoffeln. It also pairs well with other types of potatoes – particularly a cheesy mustard mash – and a helping of Schlachtekraut (Butchers’ Cabbage) and pickled peppers on the side!
Heat & Serve
This German roast pork comes frozen, but it’s precooked and ready to reheat. A few minutes on the hob after defrosting will be enough to warm the Schweinebraten through, and it can be reheated in the microwave or oven if you prefer. Schweinebraten is a delicious dish, and goes great with a stein of German beer (or soft drink of your choice).
