Roasted Pork Knuckle might be known to some in the UK as “Ham Hock”, but the German version is not brined and is usually served roasted on the bone. It’s slightly smoky flavour is a must try, for a truly authentic Oktoberfest experience.

Easy to Prepare
This tasty Bavarian classic comes from The Sausage Man precooked for your convenience, so all you need to do is reheat it and serve. We like our German Pork Knuckle on a bed of traditional Schlachtekraut (German Butcher’s Cabbage), and a side of Bratkartoffeln (German Fried Potatoes).

Cooking instructions & storage
The Pork Knuckles are fully cooked and seasoned.
For best result: pre heat the oven to about 220 degrees and place product in a roasting dish, cook for about 40min to 45 min.
Keep turning the pork knuckle occasionally and in the last 15 min turn skin side up to achieve a crispy crackling on the skin.
When goods are received, please store in freezer immediately and defrost the items before using. Once defrosted, keep the items chilled, if unopened use with 14 days. Once opened, use the products within a few days.
The product is 100% pre-cooked, just heat and serve or even eat cold. Risk free.
