Try Delicious Traubennussbrot – Grape & Nut Bread
Our Traubennussbrot – organic German sourdough grape & nut bread – is a delicious, artisan sourdough bread that is one of the best in the world. We source our excellent grape and nut artisan bread from a German family-run bakery that has been creating beautiful loaves of bread of exceptional quality for more than 150 years! The youngest member of the family is a qualified and award-winning bread sommelier and they pride themselves on making bread that is steeped in history and true to the traditions of Germany.
Sourdough Grape and Nut Is Perfect For Cheese!
Our Traubennussbrot organic German sourdough grape & nut bread is delicious and aromatic, with Californian walnuts, Turkish hazelnuts and Australian sultanas – it’s truly a feat of international collaboration! After a delicious meal with the family, a thick slice of sourdough grape and nut bread topped with a slab of medieval gouda or mature cheddar is the perfect end to any evening. As well as this, our walnut and hazelnut bread is also perfect for breakfast with a spread of jam or just some butter!
All of our organic breads are made from organic grain and pure organic raw materials. The ingredients used are not produced using genetic engineering, nor are they treated with microwaves or ionizing radiation. Our organic family bakers use yeast, sourdough or baking ferment to loosen the dough. In this way, the sourdough grape & nut bread stays fresh for longer and tastes fantastic.

Cooking instructions & storage
Cooking times
No need to heat, just thaw and serve. If you would like to warm your bread a little before eating, we recommend defrosting it fully and popping it in the oven at around 170°C/150°C (fan) for 10 to 15 mins. You can also cut slices off a frozen loaf, please do this carefully, and pop directly in the toaster for a few minutes.

My husband’s not one for fruit with savoury, so I was a little wary of buying this, but it’s one of our favourites now. Right amount of fruit to nuts (very nutty/crunchy), and great for a platter. Enough for lunch for two over a whole weekend. Will buy again.

My favourite out of all of them. More nutty than fruity. Closely followed by the Vollkorn- und Hüttenbrot.

Yes, this is an expensive bread. But it’s worth every penny. If you want to impress you guests, get some really good cheese and try with this bread. It’s just the right amount of grapes and nuts – a perfect harmony.
I tried so far 3 breads from this producer – I will definitely try the rest too and keep buying.
