Description

Our Vegan Schnitzel is made from seitan and replicates the taste and texture of ‘real’ Schnitzel. This vegan schnitzel is perfect for yourself or vegan friends and family members at your next BBQ.
Seitan is made from wheat gluten and is an excellent source of protein for vegetarians and vegans alike. Being veggie doesn’t mean that you have to miss out on great tastes and fun experiences with your friends and family.

Ingredients
water, breadcrumbs (WHEAT FLOUR, modified starch, spices, yeast, salt, water), textured WHEAT PROTEIN (WHEAT PROTEIN, WHEAT FLOUR), rapeseed oil, thickener: E461, E460; spice extracts, salt, potato starch, flavours, dextrose, palm oil, maltodextrin.

How to cook and store our vegan schnitzel
Cooking times
6 minutes from chilled. 10 minutes from frozen
Cooking instructions
Pan, Griddle, Microwave, Deep and Shallow Fry. Best way is to cook in a pan with a lot of hot vegetable oil. Cook for 3 minutes each side.
Shelf life
When goods are received, please store in fridge or freezer immediately, and defrost the items before using. Once defrosted, keep the items chilled, if unopened please see usage guidance on the packaging. Once opened, use the products within a few days.
Safety
The product is 100% pre-cooked, just heat and serve or even eat cold. Risk free.

These are delicious. We actually just ovened them for 10 mins or so to heat them from frozen as we were already frying the Spätzle to go with it in butter and thought more frying might be overload! Will be buying more!

I’m not a vegan but bought this for my mum who is a pescatarian … I had the cordon bleu schnitzel and tried a little of the vegan version … and it was actually very tasty!! I’m not generally a fan of vegan food, but this was lovely – especially with a squeeze of lemon on top before eating!
