Grünkohlbratwurst a very special Bratwurst born from the undying love the northern Germans have for Grünkohl (kale). Since Grünkohl is generally considered to be a winter dish, Grünkohlbratwurst was invented so it could be enjoyed all year long.
Grünkohlbratwurst vs the Classic Bratwurst
Grünkohlbratwurst can be handled like any other Bratwurst. Just grill or fry them until they have a nice gold-brown colour. However, the kale Bratwurst comes equipped with an aromatic filling of Grünkohl and Bacon. And this Bratwurst is considered exceptionally hearty even for German standards.
Do I need side dishes?
If you plan to serve a lot of side dishes, bear in mind that this sausage is very hearty. It will fill you up in no time. Do not underestimate the Grünkohlbratwurst.

How to Handle this Grünkohlbratwurst
Cooking instructions
These ready meals are precooked, so just heat and serve.
Cooking pot: Heat contents in a saucepan over medium heat for approx. 10 min.
Microwave: Heat contents in the microwave for approx. 2 min at 750 watts.
