How to Cook and Store Your Krakauer Bacon Frankfurter
Cooking times
5 minutes from chilled. 10 minutes from frozen.
Cooking instructions
Grill, Griddle, Oven, Microwave, Bain Marie, Steamer, Deep and Shallow Fry.
Shelf life
Please note – new 16cm packs arrive chilled, rather than frozen, and are suitable for home freezing upon delivery. When goods are received, please store in freezer immediately and defrost the items before using. Once defrosted, keep the items chilled, if unopened use with 14 days. Once opened, use the products within a few days.
Safety
The sausage is 100% pre-cooked, just heat and serve or even eat cold. Risk free.

Tried these for the first time recently and the flavour was good, in ways similar to the VW sausage. I wasn’t a huge fan of how thick the sausage skin was, considerably more bite than I expected, but not a deal breaker. I didn’t get loads of bacon flavour through, but the smoke was there.
