Vienna sausages, typically called “wieners” in Germany, are one of Europe’s favourite Frankfurters. Produced using spiced ham, their smokiness means they’re very similar to traditional North American hot dogs! They are slightly longer and thinner than American dogs, with a lighter casing, and taste just as delicious when served with mustard and ketchup.

How to Cook and Store Vienna Sausages
Shelf life
When goods are received, please store in freezer immediately and defrost the items before using. Once defrosted, keep the items chilled, if unopened use with 14 days. Once opened, use the products within a few days.
Safety
The sausage is 100% pre-cooked, just heat and serve or even eat cold. Risk free.
Cooking times
5 minutes from chilled. 10 minutes from frozen.

Easily my favorite sausage that I’ve ordered so far. I’m from Chicago and have missed a proper beef hotdog since leaving the States. These Vienna beef dogs are perfect and made my home version of a Chicago style dog pretty close to perfect (no steamed poppy seed bun or banana peppers). Great smoke and snap. Great size and value. A firm favorite in our home!

and what else it makes a pretty amazing addition for Breakfast – grill it and slice it up with some scrambled eggs, add some of the sweet mustard and you got a great way to start the day
