What Makes Our Wholesome Organic Bread with Sunflower Seeds So Special?

Artisanal bread should let natural ingredients, rather than additives, do the talking. Our German whole grain bread certainly does this, with only organic grain and raw ingredients used in the production process.

You won’t find genetically modified components or radiation methods used in the baking of our signature vollkornbrot, which is what sets it apart from many supermarket loaves. Instead of microwaving or ionizing techniques, our dedicated family bakers use yeast, sourdough and baking ferment to loosen their bread dough, meaning it stays fresher for longer!

How to Cook and Store Whole Grain Bread

Cooking instructions

No need to heat, just thaw and serve. If you would like to warm your bread a little before eating, we recommend defrosting it fully and popping it in the oven at around 170°C/150°C (fan) for 10 to 15 mins. You can also cut slices off a frozen loaf, please do this carefully, and pop directly in the toaster for a few minutes.

    Looking forward to trying Trauben-Nuss next! wouldn’t be able to buy it all the time, but t’s great as a special treat, and it does stay fresh for a long time 🙂

    I like sunflower seeds anyway but this bread is just like the one I used to buy from my local bakery in Germany- Full of them. I will be buying this on a regular basis. Close second favourite after the Trauben-Nuss-Brot. My British husband is a big fan too.
