Try Game Sausages in a Bun, or As They Come

During Oktoberfest, game sausages are traditionally served on their own with a side of sauerkraut and a stein of German Pils. However, they go great in a bun as well! We love ours with lashings of Curry Ketchup and an Essiggurken (Gherkin) for accompaniment.

Our 20cm Venison, Wild Boar & Pork Bratwursts are handmade by German master butchers and the meat is sourced from the royal hunting ranges of Germany. Moreover, they are all certified and compliant with the high game meat standards across Germany.

These sausages are pre-cooked and supplied frozen, making their preparation easy and simple. After defrosting, they need just a few minutes in a pan over a medium heat. Once the meat swells and the skin begins to split, they’re ready to eat. Cooking times

5 minutes from chilled. 10 minutes from frozen

Cooking instructions

Grill, Griddle, Oven, Deep and Shallow Fry (Just to Colour the Sausage)

Shelf life

When goods are received, please store in freezer immediately and defrost the items before using. Once defrosted, keep the items chilled, if unopened use with 14 days. Once opened, use the products within a few days.

Safety

The sausage is 100% pre-cooked, just heat and serve or even eat cold. Risk free.

    These make for a nice alternative from normal Bratwurst (which I also adore!!) and really suitable to the colder weather we are now having in autumn. Fantastic on the bbq (I bbq all year round!) served with home made coleslaw and beetroot salad…delicious!
