Description
The Bratwurst Original Nürnberger Mini 8cm is one of our smallest sausages. The Nuremberger sausage – as English people would say – is perfect for a whole heap of situations, kids, canapes, sides and accompaniments. This meaty pork and bacon sausage packs a heap of flavour into a small natural sheep casing.

If you need to cater for a kid’s party, want a delicious side to accompany a meal or simply want something a bit smaller for your next barbeque, try the Bratwurst Original Nürnberger Mini 8cm from The Sausage Man. These mini bratwurst sausages are some of the smallest in our range, but what they lack in size they more than make up for in flavour! Each pack contains 10 pork and bacon sausages, wrapped in a small, natural and traditional sheep casing.
Traditional Nürnberger Bratwurst should never be any longer than 9cm or heavier than 25g. With a long tradition and history of nearly 500 years, Nürnberger sausages are famous across Germany, and we can deliver them directly to your door! Nürnberger Rostbratwurst – what Wikipedia says:
Nürnberger sausages are pork-based, seasoned with marjoram and traditionally grilled over a beechwood fire for a smoky, delicious flavour. When cooking Nürnberger sausages as a main dish, you would traditionally serve three to six pairs with a side of sauerkraut or potato salad and dollops of either horseradish or mustard for a sharp bite. They can also be sold in a bun for a lunchtime snack, known locally in Nuremberg as Drei im Weckla (three in a bun). Another way of cooking Nuremberg sausages is in a spiced vinegar and onion stock. This is called Blaue Zipfel (blue lobes).

Our Pork hot dog is 100% filler and gluten free.
95% pork, bacon, iodized salt (table salt, potassium iodate) dextrose, spices, acidifier: citric acid; spice extract (pepper, nutmeg, mace, cardamom, lemon extract), sheep casing.

Cooking times
5 minutes from chilled. 10 minutes from frozen
Cooking instructions
Grill, Griddle, Oven, Deep and Shallow Fry (Just to Colour the Sausage)
Shelf life
When goods are received, please store in freezer immediately and defrost the items before using. Once defrosted, keep the items chilled, if unopened use with 14 days. Once opened, use the products within a few days.
Safety
The sausage is 100% pre-cooked, just heat and serve or even eat cold. Risk free.

Received these as part of a bundle and quite disappointed, lot’s of gristle and hard bits (bone?) in these, nothing like a proper mini bratwurst.

As a Nuernberg girl, I (and my kids) really miss some “3 im Weckla” every now and again.
Easy to keep in the freezer and to defrost on short notice when we’re in need of a Nuernberg sausage roll!
And almost as nice as from Bratwurst Häusle in Nürnberg – but then that is grilled on the open fire 😉
