Packed pull of flavour, this spicy gourmet Krakauer is smoked to perfection, using our butcher’s own special blend of smokery wood chips. The unique combination of smoke aromas and the noble Duroc meat promises a hearty treat!
The Duroc Pig
The specialised pig breeders used for this Gourmet Krakauer, appreciate the “robustness” of the Durocs for year-round free-range husbandry. Top chefs around the world appreciate their “tender meat” and the “fine aroma”. Duroc pigs are about 250 years old, originating from the USA. The tender muscle meat of Duroc pigs is characterized by a high level of intramuscular fat, which results in a very fine marbling. In addition to the visual enjoyment, the meat remains particularly tender during cooking and has a deep, incomparable aroma. Whether grill or pan: a real treat that was reserved for top Spanish gastronomy for a long time.

Cooking instructions & storage
5 minutes from chilled. 10 minutes from frozen.
Grill, Griddle, Oven, Microwave, Bain Marie, Steamer, Deep and Shallow Fry.
When goods are received, please store in freezer immediately and defrost the items before using. Once defrosted, keep the items chilled, if unopened use with 14 days. Once opened, use the products within a few days.
The sausage is 100% pre-cooked, just heat and serve or even eat cold. Risk free.
